A Helmet Saved my Life! by AmandaI was riding this horse that I knew very well and I liked him a lot. My instructor told me to canter over some ground poles. I wasn't very sure about it but i tried it any way. well he got to them and jumped all three of them! I was scared to goover them again. My instuctor kept pressuring me to go over them again so i finally went. i did a half-ring circle before that and the horse got excited so i decided to do another one. well about half way into that circle he bucked HUGE! my head hit the indoor arena's wall and i laid there for about 5 mins before i woke back up! if i wasn't wearing a helmet i wouldn't be here to tell the story. PS: My instructor got fired for making me do something i didn't want to do!
